Greetings, Coyote Families.
We made it through another great week, and we have a few full weeks upcoming before we get to Spring Break! Please read the entire newsletter for more details and upcoming events!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS
As a result of the snow, we have to make up time from the school Calendar. Please note that May 13th is a Wednesday, but it will be a FULL day of school and a day of testing for EOGs.

We’ve also shifted gears, wanting to include parents in our data conversations. Mr.s Nowell has done an excellent job showing students our data and making sure they understand where they are and where we need to go. As a school, we want to make sure parents are on the same page and can help support at home. So meet us at the Level Up Block Party. More information will come soon.

READ ACROSS AMERICA
Read Across America was a GREAT success. Thank you to all who participated! Check out some of our participants!

Discovery Fair is Coming to ACS!
Our STEAM-powered Scholastic Discovery Fair will take place Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 20, with the Discovery Fair Family Event taking place on Friday, March 20, at 4:30 PM. Parents are encouraged to visit our Discovery Fair homepage to learn more about what this exciting new fair is all about and to set up your child’s E-Wallet for easy, cashless shopping. We are also looking for parent volunteers to help make this event a success—thank you for supporting our school community!
COYOTE CAFE
The Coyote Cafe will be open every Thursday until May 21st. Please help our ACS Ambassadors raise funds for our food pantry every week by buying fresh fruit, crackers, granola bars, juice boxes, flavored water, and a variety of other delicious treats in the elementary gym during morning carline. Thank you for your continued support.

EMAIL EMOJIS

We’ve recently updated our operating systems to allow the use of emojis in email responses. Though it may be more personal to send a worded email, know that a staff member using this new tool is for efficiency and to acknowledge receipt. At no point is it the intent to diminish the purpose of your email(s). Please let me know if, at any point, you feel this tool is being abused and that you are not getting the responses you need.

VOLUNTEERING
We have loved having so many volunteers in the classroom! Thank you for supporting our students and staff!
Volunteerism at our school is a way for you, parents and guardians, to learn more about ACS, engage in a positive way with your child’s teachers, and witness firsthand the hard work and dedication that all our staff - teachers, assistants, support staff, and administrators demonstrate each and every day.
It is also a way to support your student and other students by assisting with workstations or small groups, helping with clerical tasks or lunch, and/or reading a book to the class. You don't have to be an educator to volunteer, and everyone is welcome. Please click on the ACS Volunteer Form Link below to find ways you can volunteer to support our school.
