ACS Newsletter November 30, 2025

Greetings Coyote Families!

I hope that everyone enjoyed their break! We are one month away from the end of 2025, and I am asking that we end this year and start the next year strong!

Holiday Giving Tree

The Holiday Giving Tree is set up in the front office.  Thank you to everyone who grabbed a tag to purchase a gift for one of our ACS families.  Please return the gifts to the front office by December 10th.  Thank you for making the holidays a little brighter!

Thank you,

Carline Reminders:

Please Do Not Use the Inner Circle. We understand mornings/afternoons can be rushed, but we need your help to keep the carline safe. For the safety of our students/staff/parents, and to maintain an efficient traffic flow, please remember that the inner lane/circle is closed for afternoon carline and should not be used. Utilizing only the outer two lanes helps us keep the line moving smoothly and safely. This requires you to follow the whole loop around. If you do not adhere to this rule, you will be asked to exit the carline and re-enter the correct way. Thank you for your cooperation!

Please do NOT line up early for carline. We don't want to set the precedent of cars waiting on campus, blocking traffic or backing up to the main road, risking citations! Remember, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, do not line up prior to 2:45. On Wednesday's do not line up before 12:45.

Clothing Donations Needed

We have received a few requests for gently used clothing suitable for the fall and winter seasons.  If you have any of the following sizes and are willing to donate them, we would greatly appreciate it.  You may drop the clothing off at the front office, and we will make sure it gets to the appropriate families.

Boys'/Men's Fall/Winter Clothing Sizes-  9-24 months, 3T, 7/8, 8y, 8-10, 13y, 30x32 men's pants, small men's shirts, M/L men's sweatpants

Boys/Men's Shoes- Toddler 7.5-8, 2.5y, Men's 10-10.5

Girls' Fall/Winter Clothing Sizes- 6/7, 8 (pants especially!)

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

“COYOTE PACK” FACEBOOK GROUP

Current & NEW families, join our Official ACS "Coyote Pack" Facebook Group. In addition to our newsletters and teacher communications, we use this page to communicate important information during the school year. The ACS Coyote Pack FB group is a positive way to connect staff and parents/caregivers to foster good communication so we can continue to build the caring and inclusive community that so many of us want for our students, staff, and families. The ACS Coyote Pack FB group is where you can ask questions, and our staff & involved families can answer questions and provide correct information. Families NEW to ACS are welcome to join as soon as they complete their registration in SchoolMint. Request to join today:

While everyone is invited to join, please be mindful of what is posted. The goal is increased information and positivity.

VOLUNTEERING

We have loved having so many volunteers in the classroom! Thank you for supporting our students and staff!

Volunteerism at our school is a way for you, parents and guardians, to learn more about ACS, engage positively with your child’s teachers, and witness firsthand the hard work and dedication that all our staff - teachers, assistants, support staff, and administrators demonstrate each day.

It is also a way to support your student and other students by assisting with workstations or a small group, helping with clerical tasks or lunch, and/or something as simple as reading a book to the class. You do not have to be an educator to volunteer, and everyone is welcome!  Please click on the ACS Volunteer Form Link below to find ways you can volunteer to support our school.
