Greetings, Coyote Families. We have had a nice, full week, and the excitement continues: Somebody shout 'MYBOOSTER.COM'!!!!!!!! We are at Boosterthon!!!!! For our new families, please be aware that we will be exhausted after the next few weeks, but also know that it will be worth it. Booster is a program that not only builds community and school spirit, but it is also one of our most lucrative fundraisers, allowing us to continue functioning independently of a large district and ensuring our students receive the best educational experience possible. Keep a lookout for all things booster via email, Newsletters, and social media.
The Goal is $40,000 with at least 40 states represented. We haven’t officially kicked off yet, but we've already raised $ 2,400 and have 12 states represented! The students and staff will kick off with a Pep Rally on Wednesday, and there will be a fun run/ Glow Run on Thursday, November 6th, where families can come and cheer on your students (They are also free to leave with you after they finish the funrun!)

Spring Sports have completed their tryouts, and we will post the teams soon. Additionally, a Winter Sports Jamboree will take place on November 3 to introduce our teams and kick off their season. See the Flyer Below for more information!

Elementary Carline Reminder: Please Do Not Use the Inner Circle: We understand mornings/afternoons can be rushed, but we need your help to keep carline safe! For the safety of our students/staff/parents, and to maintain an efficient traffic flow, please remember that the inner lane/circle is closed for afternoon carline and should not be used. Utilizing only the outer two lanes helps us keep the line moving smoothly and safely. This requires you to follow the whole loop around. If you do not adhere to this rule, you will be asked to exit the carline and re-enter the correct way. Thank you for your cooperation!
*There have been several changes, not just at ACS, but at schools all over North Carolina. Please know that the changes we implement are not intended to frustrate you. Change can be hard, but we will only implement changes that make ACS more efficient and keep our staff and students safe. Supporting the changes will help them run smoothly when implemented. When implementing change, be aware that complaints often slow the process, but potential solutions are always welcome. Thank you all again, and let's have a great week!

ACS Curriculum Feedback
As we prepare for our upcoming Curriculum Night, we are eager to hear your thoughts, questions, and input concerning our school's curriculum. Parent involvement is a vital part of our students' success, and your perspective is invaluable as we continue to shape and refine the educational experience here at ACS.
To ensure we receive as much feedback as possible, we kindly ask you to complete this brief survey:
Please complete the survey by November 2nd. Your responses will help guide our talks and presentations during Curriculum Night and inform our instructional planning.
We look forward to a productive conversation and to seeing you on Wednesday, November 5th, for our Curriculum Night and Kindergarten - 4th Grade Project Celebrations!
Sincerely,

VOLUNTEERING
We have loved having so many volunteers in the classroom! Thank you for supporting our students and staff!
Volunteerism at our school is a way for you, parents and guardians, to learn more about ACS, engage positively with your child’s teachers, and witness firsthand the hard work and dedication that all our staff—teachers, assistants, support staff, and administrators —demonstrate each day.
It is also a way to support your student and other students by assisting with workstations or a small group, helping with clerical tasks or lunch, and/or something as simple as reading a book to the class. You don't have to be an educator to volunteer, and everyone is welcome. Please click on the ACS Volunteer Form Link below to find ways you can volunteer to support our school. https://forms.gle/6iPiTAYNhm14BezV6
