MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear ACS Families & Staff,
If Punxutawney Phil is correct, we are in for an early spring! We certainly hope good weather continues as we begin our next phase of construction (Cottage #2 and our full-sized gym). It's exciting to see our school grow and we are glad you are part of the journey!
You should have received a link from your child's teacher with the opportunity to sign up for a conference. If you missed it, please reach out to the teacher.
Here are a few highlights from the week:
2nd graders celebrated the 100th day of school (K and 1st are celebrating this week) and have been working hard on their subtraction skills!
5th graders wrapped up their study of force and motion and will be learning about the human body and how the different body systems work together.
Some students (and staff...see the recent Facebook post!) are learning about cardio bucket drumming. What a great way to learn about rhythm, incorporate movement, and have some fun!
In PE, students are learning basketball skills such as different types of passes and how to shoot the ball. March Madness, here we come!
Best,
Jamie Miller, Principal
