ACS Weekly Newsletter 12/3/23

MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear ACS Families & Staff,

I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving break! It was great seeing everyone back this week. I am excited to share some highlights from this week at ACS.

1. Our first graders participated in the 'Flags for First Graders' presentation and each

student received a small American flag.

2. Grade-level teams shared their reflections from the last project and are working to solidify plans for the second-trimester project.

3. Ms. W. secured a grant to help her Musical Theatre class bring the first musical production to ACS!

We are excited to see what next week holds and look forward to wrapping up the first half of the school year with enthusiasm and appreciation for what ACS has accomplished despite the obstacles we have faced. We are grateful for your support and for persevering with us. It takes a community!

Best,

Jamie Miller, Principal

ACS will offer golf in the spring. Coach Long is working to schedule matches with area schools. Stay tuned for more information.
