During the assessment, all caregivers will be asked to wait in the Caregiver Holding Room or in their cars.

PROTECT CHARTER SCHOOL FUNDING

  • Every year, Congress decides how much money should go towards new charter schools. Your voice matters most as they deliberate.

  • Since the pandemic began nearly three years ago, more than 240,000 new students enrolled in charter schools while 1.5 million students left their assigned public schools. It’s important that families have more public education choices—not fewer.

  • The Charter Schools Program is the only source of federal funding that helps new charter schools open and great charter schools grow and replicate. We need your help in asking Congress to protect and grow this program, particularly to support the cost of charter school buildings. Families deserve the chance to choose the public education option best for their children, and all public school students deserve access to great school facilities.

  • Take one minute to complete this short form which will send an email to your Members of Congress in Washington.
