Introducing J. Marquice Miller, ACS Principal, starting July 2024

Mr. J. Marquice Miller was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a master's degree in educational leadership from Gardner-Webb University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at Carolina University.

After briefly leading and teaching first-graders, Mr. Miller discovered his calling in middle school, where he spent most of his teaching career in eighth-grade math and science. Mr. Miller was a teacher leader outside the classroom, providing professional development at the school and district levels. These experiences led him to administration, where he has worked as an assistant principal at the middle and high school levels in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.

Mr. Miller, his wife, and their three sons live in High Point, North Carolina. He enjoys performing music, singing with his family, gardening, yard work, and kickboxing!

Mr. Miller will officially begin his principal duties on July 1st and he is very excited about joining the ACS community and meeting all of our students, staff, and families.
