Scott Tribotte

School Counselor & 504 Coordinator

Scott Tribotte grew up in Rochester, New York with his younger brother and parents. He attended his local middle and high school before going to the University of New England for undergrad in Biddeford, Maine. At UNE, he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Marine Biology as well as a 7-12 teaching certificate in Biological Sciences. He swam competitively for four years and held the Men's team captain position for his third and fourth years.

Scott has been at ACS since Day 1 and although at times, the ups and downs can be difficult, the work is rewarding. Most of the time he is the school counselor, but is also known to fill in anywhere…his hat closet is extensive! He previously taught 7th grade science in New Hampshire and at Broadview Middle School. He went back to school for a Masters in School Counseling at UNC Chapel Hill, where he did his student counseling at Voyager Academy in Durham where Leslie Paynter gave him his first job as an “Artselor”. After Voyager, Scott did one year counseling at Siler City Elementary School before coming to ACS.
