Mrs. McVey is thrilled to be a dedicated member of the Alamance Community School team. With an extensive background in education, including experience within the Alamance-Burlington School System, she has been a proud member of the ACS faculty since 2022. She is passionate about helping every student reach their full potential and remains deeply committed to the school’s ongoing success. She is most passionate about teaching Reading/Phonics and will talk about her love for the subjects all day long. Outside of the classroom, Mrs. McVey enjoys baking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is also proud to serve as a coach for the ACS branch of Girls on the Run.
