Savana McVey is very excited to return to ACS this coming school year! She was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2017 with her Elementary Education degree and again in 2020 with her Masters of Elementary Education degree.

Mrs. McVey previously worked for Alamance Burlington School System from 2017-2023. She has taught 2nd and 4th grade, and served as her school’s Reading and Math Interventionist.

While at ACS the past two years, Mrs. McVey has taught 3rd grade all subjects, and 3rd grade Reading while blocking.

Mrs. McVey specializes in all things Reading and is passionate about student’s Reading success while in 3rd grade.

When she is not teaching she enjoys traveling, baking, crafting, and spending time with her family. She is excited to see what this school year brings. 💜
