Sarah Mayle
Instructional Coach
Sarah Mayle is delighted to be a member of the Alamance Community School staff. An Oklahoma native, she is a graduate of Duke University and licensed in K-6 and gifted education, working in education since 2007. With a Master’s in Education, her classroom experience includes teaching Kindergarten, first, fourth, and sixth grades, as well as serving for seven years as a STEM and AIG specialist at a local elementary school.
As a facilitator for a nearby school district, she supported and coached teachers to differentiate and enrich curriculum for all learners. Sarah believes in creating a learning environment in which students take ownership of their learning through problem solving and inquiry. Her students learn to ask questions, collaborate with others, and explain their thinking.
Sarah has a passion for teaching and enjoys sharing her love of math with staff and students. She is beyond thrilled to be an ACS Instructional Coach to support students with becoming phenomenal math thinkers!
