Pam Snyder is from the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State. After retiring from a 25 year teaching career in NYS where she taught 6th grade all subjects, as well as 5/6th grade remedial math and reading, she relocated to NC to be closer to family. She holds both a Bachelors and a Masters Degree from Elmira College and is entering her 29th year of teaching.

Ms. Snyder looks forward to the upcoming school year, filled with opportunities helping students grow academically and socially. She firmly believes that literacy is transformative and the doors it opens are endless.
