Pam Snyder
Reading Interventionist
Originally from the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State, Ms. Snyder joins us for another year following a rewarding teaching career in NYS. Over her career, she taught 6th-grade all subjects, as well as 5th and 6th-grade remedial math and reading. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Literacy.
After retiring from NYS, Ms. Snyder relocated to North Carolina to be closer to her daughter and her family. Outside the classroom, she stays active with biking, yoga, and pickleball. She passionately follows MLB baseball as well as college football and basketball. Above all, she loves spending time with her two granddaughters and is thrilled to be welcoming a third granddaughter soon!
Ms. Snyder looks forward to a fantastic school year helping students grow both academically and socially. She deeply believes that literacy is transformative and opens endless doors for young learners.
