Boosterthon

Somebody say MY BOOSTER.COM

Boostethon is a bit earlier this year. While it is really close to the start of the year, the goal is to get it going and then have a GOOD stretch of uninterrupted instruction through the year.

We’re so close to $30,000! Thanks to your generosity and support, we've made incredible progress toward our goal.

The good news is that there’s still time. MyBooster.com will remain open for one more week, and if we reach our goal, the grade level that donates the most will get Mr. Miller in the Ice Bucket Challenge!

Also, the top sellers will be entered for a chance to be Principal for the day!

Last but not least, if we reach $30,000, all registered families will earn Great Wolf Lodge day passes. We have reached $27,000 so far!

If you haven’t registered or helped our school yet, go to MyBooster.com today to join in the fun.

Also, check your email for another fun Great Wolf Lodge treat. They are gifting everyone a discount code to help plan your own family getaway!

Have you been wondering how to help your student level up to prepare for this school year? Let's talk about it! The Curriculum Night is the perfect place to hear about data and how to prep for the year, EOGs, and Beyond!

Please complete the survey below to help us gauge participation.

With the Parent Connect App, parents can:

  • View and manage their student's dismissal information.

  • Submit dismissal change requests.

  • Receive notifications when dismissal changes are approved.

You must complete your Annual Update Forms in Infinite Campus Parent Portal and connect to the app with an approved Parent email account.

Students entering 7th grade are required to have one dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccine and one dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine for individuals who have not already received those vaccines. Please contact your student's health care provider or the local health department to obtain an updated immunization record or to make an appointment, if your child needs those vaccines.

If proof of vaccination is not provided within 30 calendar days of the first day of school, your child will be excluded from school until a current shot record is provided, as required by law. This exclusion goes into effect on September 11th.

While we have been doing a great job with carline, here are some updates and reminders:

Morning:

  • Please don't line up prior to 7 am. We have before-school families who need to be released, as well as staff who need to start their day(s).

  • Make sure you stay to the left until passing the middle school gym so that MS students can be let out as well.

  • MS only line, please make sure you arrive BEFORE 8:10. This gives

  • Anyone arriving after carline is done MUST come into the office to sign students in the main office.

  • Please make sure a parent is signing the students in.

Afternoon:

  • Do not line up for carline before 2:45 (12:45 on Wednesdays). While waiting in line, please only make 2 lanes (The 3rd lane needs to remain open for emergencies, sports, and early pickups.)

  • Once the cones are moved by a staff member, please travel the ENTIRE loop (The small loop is for emergency vehicles only). You will have to go to overflow and wait for your students if you skip the line.

  • Using the small loop and switching lines after being scanned will mess up the order of cars and prevent you from being in the right zone. Please stay in the same lane once you are scanned.

  • Dismissal begins at 3:15. Carline runs until 3:45. Please make sure you are present before the 3:45 cutoff.

I hope this information helps us all keep the carline quick, smooth and safe!
