Tiffany Shiver

5th Grade Math

Entering her fifth year of teaching, Tiffany Shiver is thrilled to begin her first year at Alamance Community School. She looks forward to a wonderful year of learning, growth, and building meaningful relationships with students and their families, firmly believing that a strong partnership between home and the classroom is essential to student success.

Born in Texas and raised in Alabama, Mrs. Shiver has lived in four different states. She holds teaching licenses in both Alabama and North Carolina and earned her Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Troy University.

Outside the classroom, she is married to her high school sweetheart, and together they are raising four amazing kids and one energetic dog. She loves spending time with family, cheering on her children at soccer games, and enjoying the outdoors.

Fun Fact: Before becoming a teacher, Mrs. Shiver worked as a project manager for a large school district. She enjoys sharing how that background helps her build an organized, engaging, and student-centered classroom.

Favorite Snacks: Coconut water and dark chocolate-covered almonds.

She is looking forward to an amazing school year and can't wait to get to know each of you.
