Stephanie Philpot has been teaching for 16 years. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After teaching 4th and 5th grade for 13 years, Stephanie became interested in teaching STEM after being selected to participate in two educator excellence trips through the Natural Science Museum in Raleigh.

She enjoys watching students problem solve and be creative in many ways through STEM activities in her classroom to “build a better world.”

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, reading, hiking, camping, and anything that involves being outdoors.
