
Sabrina Chatman
7th Grade ELA
Sabrina Chatman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Masters of Science in Educational Psychology along with National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Literacy. Sabrina has twenty years of teaching experience in English, Social Studies, Science, Writing, and ESL.
Ms. Chatman has served as a teacher mentor, Leadership Team member, curriculum consultant, and training facilitator. She lives in Burlington, NC with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. Ms. Chatman has authored one book and spends her free time reading, writing, quilting, and baking. Recently, Ms. Chatman began writing her second book and founded a shortbread cookie company with her twelve year old daughter.
Ms. Chatman wants parents and students to remember these things:
- Like plants, everyone grows at their own pace.
- We all must be uncomfortable at times or we are not learning anything new.
- Cookies should be considered a necessary food group.
