Necolby Burt is from Asheville, N.C. and taught Kindergarten in Durham Public Schools for seven years, before coming to ACS. Ms. Burt came to ACS as a 2nd grade teacher in 2021 and has returned to teaching Kindergarten and loving it!

Ms. Burt is very passionate about teaching and helping all students reach their full potential. Necolby is a proud graduate of North Carolina Central University, with a B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences/ Child Development/ Family Relations (2009) and a B.A. in Elementary Education K-6 (2017).

When Ms. Burt is not spending time with her daughters, Kamdyn and Kylie, she is reading, listening to music and surfing Pinterest for craft ideas.
