McKensie Schiltz graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in English as a Second Language (TESOL).

Her vision as a teacher is to create a classroom where every student feels welcome, valued, seen, and heard. She takes pride in building a strong classroom community that fosters independence, respect, and character. McKensie is passionate about teaching students how to be kind, capable, and contributing members of their community.

She lives in Greensboro, NC with her husband Zack and their two daughters, Ava and Sunny. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, baking, and teaching Pilates!
