Maddy Boyd is very excited to be joining the team this year at Alamance Community School. Maddy has served as a passionate Music Educator for the state of North Carolina since 2024 and has a dedication to creating a classroom space where students can thrive and succeed in all their musical endeavors.

Originally growing up in Upstate, New York. Maddy attended Mansfield University, where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a concentration in Choral and Vocal Studies. Maddy is also currently working on a master's program in Higher Education at Appalachian State University.

When not in the classroom, Maddy enjoys spending time with family, finding an antique or record store, and crafting!

Maddy is excited to start her journey at Alamance Community School and share her voice, leadership, and musical talents with the community.
