Katie Weadon is thrilled to be joining the 3rd-grade team as they embark on an exciting journey of learning and discovery together. As a fresh face to the world of teaching, she is eager to bring her passion for education and love for children to her classroom.

She is a proud graduate of East Carolina University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Science. Her time at ECU equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary to create a stimulating and nurturing environment where students can thrive.

When she is not busy shaping young minds, you can find her enjoying quality time with my puppy, Milo, and cherishing moments with her friends and family. Whether exploring the great outdoors or simply relaxing at home, these moments are what truly fuel her spirit. Ms. Weadon is beyond excited to start her teaching career here at Alamance Community School and embark on this incredible adventure with you all.
