Jacqueline Vila was born and raised in Burlington, North Carolina. She graduated from UNC Greensboro in 2021 with a BS in Elementary Education with a minor in English. As of June 2025, she graduated with her Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction from WGU.

This will be her fifth year teaching at ACS, and she couldn’t be more excited! She was grateful to have had the opportunity to complete her student teaching internship in 1st grade at a UNCG partnership school in Reidsville, North Carolina during the 2020 2021 school year.

Outside of teaching, Jacqueline is recently married and enjoys spending time with her husband, visiting her family in New York, shopping, and playing with her puppy Turbo! She is very excited to be teaching 2nd grade at Alamance Community School and cannot wait to meet you. Here’s to a wonderful school year filled with fun, laughter, and lots of learning!
