Denise Herman

Denise Herman is proud to call Alamance Community School her home! She has a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and has been teaching for 10 years. Each year she feels more grateful than the last to hold this irreplaceable role in our community.

Denise lives with her husband Rob, who is also an elementary school teacher, and her two incredible daughters. They live in Mebane, N.C. and absolutely love this town! When she is not teaching, Denise loves to run with her two dogs Luke and Lady, play outside with her girls, read, and listen to music.

Sixth Grade is a year filled with unique adventures of adolescence and she is very humbled to guide her students through this precious journey. Denise's passion is to be the safe and positive mentor that her students need while navigating this journey.
