Cristina Carranza
Instructional Assistant
Cristina is originally from Dallas, Texas, and moved to North Carolina at the age of four. She pursued her passion for cooking by attending ACC to become a chef. A dedicated mother of two amazing boys, Cristina also serves as a caregiver for adults with special needs—a role she finds deeply rewarding.
Before joining ACS, Cristina spent 16 years working in childcare, where she developed a deep love for early childhood education. Kindergarten has truly stolen her heart, and she feels incredibly blessed to be part of such an inspiring and supportive team.
Outside of the classroom, Cristina enjoys making memories with her sons—whether it’s cooking on the Blackstone, having bonfires, fishing, biking, heading to the beach, visiting the zoo, or taking their dog Simba on nature walks. She's excited to begin a fresh school year and looks forward to meeting all the new faces
