Ms. Fisher is a Special Education teacher who started teaching in 2005. Ms. Fisher holds a bachelor's degree from Radford University, as well as a Master's degree in special education from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Ms. Fisher previously worked in NC public schools for 20 years before joining Alamance Community School. Ms. Fisher has experience with project based learning, and has been a beginning teacher mentor, had student teachers placed in her classroom at times, and worked as EC chair for her school in past years. Ms. Fisher believes that all students are capable of learning, and frequently learn very differently as individuals. She believes in encouraging her students every day to achieve their very best.

Ms. Fisher lives in Mebane with her two rescue dogs. When she is not in school, Ms. Fisher is busy traveling the country with family, seeing new places, and camping.
