Greetings ACS Families,
We are excited to invite you to our Open House tomorrow, August 12, from 9:30 to 4 pm. This event is a beautiful opportunity for you to visit our school, See our new construction, meet your child’s teachers, and learn a little more about the curriculum and activities planned for this school year.
What to Expect:
Meet the Teachers: Engage with your child’s teachers and gain insight into the learning environment.
Classroom Tours: Explore your child’s classroom and see where the magic of learning happens.
Curriculum Overview: Learn about the exciting topics and projects your child will be working on this year.
Q&A Session: Ask any questions about the school year and how you can support your child’s success.
Open House Dates/Times for 2024-2025 School Year:
The times for open house are as follows:
Kindergarten - 9:30 - 11:30
1st Grade through 4th Grade - 12:00 - 2:00
5th Grade Through 7th Grade - 2:30 - 4:30
The first day of school for ALL 1st - 7th-grade students is Tuesday, August 13th, from 8:15 - 3:15.
Remember, this is not the time for full parent-teacher conferences. Teachers will have a sheet to discuss specifics with your child. We want all students and families to have time to meet their teachers.
Back to School Bash
Join us as we kick off the 2024-2025 School year with community, fun, food, and activities. Old or new to the community, this is a great opportunity to meet others and catch up with other families in the ACS community.
The event will occur during the rolling open house in the front of the building. Feel free to come by before or after your scheduled open house and take a last-minute break before school gets underway.
We will have games, activities, swag, local vendors that support our community, and more at the event. Please continue to follow the discussion about confirmed vendors.

Parking Information:
Please Park in the loop behind the gym. There will be signs up and down the sidewalk. Make sure you park so that you aren’t blocking traffic and can leave without being blocked by the Back-to-School Bash festivities.
We encourage you to bring your child along so they can proudly show you around their school. Your involvement and support play a vital role in your child’s education, and we look forward to sharing this special evening with you.
