Wendy Lane
ES Global Connections, MS Leadership & Service
Wendy Lane is a lifelong resident of Alamance County. She began her career working in the insurance and construction industries after graduating from UNCG with a BS in Management and Marketing. She discovered her passion for education through years of teaching Sunday School, working with youth groups, and volunteering in her children’s classrooms. She worked in the EC Department at EM Yoder Elementary for 10 years where she completed the lateral entry licensing program in Special Education before joining the Alamance Community School staff as the Global Connections teacher.
As a mother of four children, she has learned that the best way to prevail in any situation is through patience, good humor, and optimism. She brings these qualities to the classroom, believing that every child is capable of learning new things and her job is to help them reach their potential. She is excited to create learning adventures through Global Connections.
