Dawn Leath

Ms. Dawn is excited to teach her fourth year of kindergarten at ACS. She graduated from UNC-G; School of Education and has been teaching for 20 years total, all with Pre-K and Kindergarten. Her favorite things about being a teacher are reading stories, doing projects, and making stuff. She loves glitter, lots of glitter! But mostly, she loves kindergarteners and the opportunity to watch young minds grow in their first year of school.

She was born and raised in NC, and has lived here her whole life! In her spare time she enjoys snuggles with her grandsons, reading, exploring thrift stores and Amazon for kids books to read in her classroom, and spending time with her family, friends, and fur babies.

She is a mom to 3 grown sons, 3 dogs,1 cat, and 1 bird. But, her favorite role is as a GaGa!

The most important thing to her, as a teacher, is to promote the social emotional well being of every child, every day!
