Ashlee Sherrod

6th Grade

Ashlee Sherrod is from Charlotte, N.C. and has been in education for seventeen years. Mrs. Sherrod has worked as a Special Education teacher (K-8) for 7 years, General Education Math teacher (7 th grade) for 2 years, MTSS Coordinator (K-5) 5 months, and IB/Testing Coordinator with Guilford County Schools. Mrs. Sherrod is now working as a 6th grade math teacher and is excited to be a part of ACS!

Mrs. Sherrod is passionate about supporting the needs of her students to ensure that they succeed and find achievement in the math setting. Ashlee is a proud graduate of NC A&T State University (2003), with a B.S. in Child Development, Gardner-Webb University (2016), with a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Liberty University, in Curriculum and Instruction.

Aside from her work as an educator, Ashlee is married and shares two sons Nicholas and Nash with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and attending the Carolina Panther games with husband and children.
