Sarah Loftin

Sarah joins the ACS team with over 26 years in education. Her background includes teaching in both Alamance and Orange Counties and she has experience in working with children in Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle and High School.

Sarah is originally from Chatham Va., but since becoming a TAR HEEL at UNC-Chapel Hill for undergrad and graduate school (many years ago) she is proudly a NC native and brings 30 years of community to ACS and is a Mebane resident.

The apples of her eyes are her four grandchildren: Charlie Grace, Judah, Walker and Jett.

She believes that growing a valued connection with her students enables them to “learn to learn” and that everyday is a new opportunity to expand their young minds and bring joy, laughter and love into their lives.
