Necolby Burt

Necolby Burt is from Asheville N.C. and has been in education for thirteen years. Ms. Burt has been teaching Kindergarten in Durham Public Schools for the past seven years. Necolby has also been teaching 2nd grade here at ACS for the past two years. Necolby is very excited to be joining the Kindergarten team this year!

Ms. Burt is very passionate about teaching and helping my students reach their full potential. Necolby is a proud graduate of North Carolina Central University, with a B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences/ Child Development/ Family Relations (2009) and a B.A. in Elementary Education K-6 (2017).

When Ms. Burt is not spending time with her daughters, Kamdyn and Kylie, she is reading, listening to music and surfing Pinterest for craft ideas.
