Kelly Holloway was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She obtained a bachelor's degree from West Virginia University followed by a master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. She moved to Durham, NC in August 2013 where she began teaching 5th grade at Glenn Elementary School. After 2 years, she transitioned to teaching 6th grade Science at Rogers-Herr Middle School, both schools in Durham, NC. While teaching science, she knew that her passion was health and physical education and was looking to make the transition to become a health and physical education teacher. She is extremely excited to teach health and physical education as a profession as it has always been her passion!
Kelly currently resides in Mebane, NC. Her and her husband, Brian, have three adorable little boys, Grant, Luke, and Shane as well as two bonus children. In her spare time, she enjoys playing outside/sports with her boys, working out, spending quality time with her family and friends, traveling when she can, and trying new places to eat!
