Mr. Christopher Nappi graduated from Long Island University, CW Post Campus with a B.S. in Business Administration in 2005. Following a marketing career including a stop in Manhattan, education found him rather than the other way around.
In 2007, Chris became a 5th grade teaching assistant while returning to school to work on a Master’s Degree. In 2009, Mr. Nappi graduated with a M.S. in Childhood Education (1-6).
Throughout his educational career in New York, Christopher taught 4th and 5th grade for eight years. Mr. Nappi received a second certification in Business Education which led to two years of teaching High School and College credited business courses.
Prior to moving to North Carolina, Chris created a middle school Business Technology curriculum for his former district that he instructed for three years.
The Nappi family, Chris, his wife Jennifer, and daughter Lilian, arrived in Mebane in the summer of 2022. Outside of school Mr. Nappi enjoys lifting weights, playing sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
Following his first year of teaching CTE in North Carolina, Mr. Nappi’s desire to return to elementary education led to applying to ACS. Chris is excited and grateful for the opportunity to be a member of the Alamance Community School staff!
