Kindergarten
Chelsea Wilson grew up in Lawrence, NJ. After graduating from the College of New Jersey with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology, she began teaching in 1999. Over the years, she has taught grades 1, 2, 4 and middle school math. She is certified in math, reading, and EC and holds a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction specializing in computer education.
Her teaching philosophy is that a teacher should educate the whole child and she has followed the Responsive Classroom approach at school and home, and has three teenage children.
She encourages her students to work at their instructional and independent levels on literacy focused projects. These learning opportunities allow students to discover and understand the world around them. She loves sharing her books and can't wait to share a story with you!
